Why now
The market just woke up.
Pokémon TCG hit a $11.6B global secondary market in 2024 — bigger than baseball, basketball, and football cards combined. PSA grading volume tripled. The buyer is mainstream, mobile-first, and has nowhere good to spend.
$11.6B
2024 Pokémon market
3x larger than 2020. Bigger than the entire MLB + NBA + NFL card markets combined.

Backlogs hit 12+ months at peak. Pre-graded inventory is the unlock — buyers want the slab today, not next year.

Real cards
Every card has a PSA cert.
Look up any card you pull on PSA's official cert verification database. The same card you see in the app is the slab that ships from the vault — no swaps, no doubles.

Published odds. Verifiable pulls.
Every pack tier shows the full card checklist with qty/pool odds before you buy. No black boxes, no stuffed packs, no fake pulls.
Phase 2 — coming after MVP
Liquidity without selling. Coming after launch.
Cards in your vault are real, valuable assets — but they're illiquid until you sell. Phase 2 gives collectors a third option: a 90-day repurchase agreement. Take cash today against a card you own; redeem the same card back within 90 days for principal + a flat fee. No interest, no APR — it's structured as a sale + option, not a loan.
No other consumer card platform offers this at sub-$50K positions. PWCC has institutional financing; nobody serves the $200–$5,000 collector. That's the wedge.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Every pack contains exactly one item — either a PSA-graded trading card or a sealed booster pack, depending on the tier. The full checklist for every tier is published on the Packs page before you buy, including each card's PSA grade, set, and current market value. Nothing is hidden, nothing is stuffed with undesirable filler.
Sleeved, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware and your vault is maintained at a Delaware-based storage facility. Purchases that remain in your vault are not subject to sales tax under Delaware law. If you choose to ship a card to an address in a sales-tax state, applicable taxes may be collected at the time of shipping — not at purchase.
Buyback offers appear immediately after you open a pack, priced at 80% of the card's current Card Ladder market value. If you accept, funds are credited to your Sleeved wallet within seconds. You can withdraw to a linked Venmo, PayPal, or bank account — Venmo and PayPal transfers typically clear within minutes, bank ACH within 1–2 business days.
Shipping requests are processed within 1 business day. Cards ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground with full tracking and insurance equal to the card's current market value. Domestic delivery typically takes 2–5 business days depending on your location.
Yes. Every card in your vault is a real, physical PSA-slabbed card stored in a climate-controlled facility in Delaware. Cards are fully insured against theft, damage, and loss. You own the card the moment it lands in your vault — Sleeved is the custodian, not the owner. You can request physical delivery at any time.
The Sleeved marketplace charges zero transaction fees. No listing fee, no percentage cut, no hidden charges. Cards transfer directly from the seller's vault to the buyer's vault — no shipping headaches either. Compare this to eBay's ~13% final value fee or Whatnot's 8% — on a $500 card you keep $500 on Sleeved vs $435 on eBay.
All shipments from the vault are fully insured for the card's current Card Ladder market value. In the extremely unlikely event of damage in transit, we'll process a full replacement or cash payout within 5 business days. Cards stored in the vault are covered by the vault's blanket insurance policy at no additional cost to you.
Every pack outcome is generated using a commit-reveal scheme: before you rip, we publish a hashed commitment of the result. After you rip, we reveal the seed so anyone can verify the outcome wasn't changed mid-flight. Pull rates are published per pack tier and audited monthly by an independent third party. The vault inventory and odds are reconciled and posted publicly.
Every card carries a PSA certification number. You can look it up directly on PSA's official cert verification database to confirm the grade, set, and year. When you receive a shipment, the slab is sealed and tamper-evident — break the seal and the card is yours to inspect.
Your cards are held by an independent third-party custodian, not Sleeved itself. In the event of a shutdown, you have the legal right to claim physical delivery of every card in your vault — at no cost. The custodian's identity, the insurance carrier, and the legal terms governing custody are publicly disclosed in our Terms of Service.
Yes. The 80% instant buyback is the convenient option. If you want full market value, list the card on the Sleeved marketplace (0% fees) and sell vault-to-vault, or request physical shipment and sell on eBay, Whatnot, or to a local shop.

The team
Building Sleeved in public.
Solo founder, one mission: make collecting feel as easy as opening an app, with the trust of a graded slab and the economics of a peer-to-peer market. I share what I ship.
Matthew Hun
Founder · Product
UCLA undergrad. Pulled my first Charizard at age 8 and never recovered. After three years of watching friends pay 13% to eBay, get scammed on Whatnot, and wait six months for PSA grading, I started building Sleeved.
"The gap between 'I want this card' and 'I own this card' should be 30 seconds, not three weeks. That's the whole company in one sentence."
●Inventory pipeline — sourcing the first 500 PSA-graded cards from established dealers + auction houses.
●Custodian agreement — finalizing terms with a third-party storage facility and insurance carrier.
●Legal review — meeting with counsel re: state-by-state classification (e-commerce vs. games of chance).
○Beta cohort — first 100 collectors from the waitlist, summer 2026.
Legal & Trust
No black boxes.
Card platforms have a trust problem. Here's everything we can answer about how Sleeved is structured, who holds your cards, and how we keep the math honest.
Corporate
Sleeved is incorporated as a Delaware C-Corp. Registered agent and corporate filings available on request. Mailing address provided to verified partners and counsel.
Custody
Cards are stored by an independent third-party custodian — not Sleeved. We are finalizing terms with a Delaware-based vault that already holds collectibles for institutional collectors. The custodian's identity, insurance carrier, and audit schedule will be published before any paid transactions occur.
If Sleeved ever shuts down, every customer has the legal right to claim physical delivery of their cards directly from the custodian.
Randomness
Pack outcomes use a commit-reveal scheme. Before you rip, we publish a SHA-256 hash of (server seed + your client seed). After the rip, the seed is revealed; anyone can recompute the hash to verify the result wasn't changed. Per-tier pull rates are published per pack and reconciled against vault inventory monthly.
Audit reports will be posted to this page beginning the month after launch.
Regulatory posture
Sleeved sells pre-graded collectibles via published-odds packs. We classify as e-commerce, not gaming, and we are working with counsel on a state-by-state review (with particular attention to WA, FL, and NY). Some states will require modified offerings or opt-out, and we will publish the list before launch.
What we don't do
· No interest-bearing loans or APR products
· No fractional ownership or tokenization of cards
· No "yield" or APY products on customer balances
· No reselling cards we don't physically hold
Phase 2 — collector buybacks (planned)
After we hit our first 1,000 vault customers, we plan to offer 90-day repurchase agreements on cards held in the Sleeved vault. The structure: we buy a card from a customer at ~60% of FMV; the customer has the right (not obligation) to repurchase the same card within 90 days at ~70% of FMV. If they don't repurchase, the card is ours and we can resell it.
This is a sale + option, not a loan. No interest accrues, no APR, no state lending license required. The structure is similar to consignment with a right of first refusal — historically used by auction houses and pawn brokers for centuries.
We will publish the full agreement, fee schedule, and counsel-reviewed legal opinion before this product launches.

Pre-launch site live + waitlist open
First public version of sleeved.live went up today. The interactive pack-rip demo is real (synthesized audio, deterministic random pool drawn from a Pokémon TCG card list) — it shows exactly what the live experience will feel like, just without real cards behind it yet.
If you're on the waitlist before beta opens, you skip the queue. The first 100 also get a free starter pack.
WhyApril 23, 2026
Why we're starting with Pokémon (and only Pokémon)
Sports cards have bigger headline numbers, but Pokémon has three properties no other category does: a 25-year-old international fanbase that didn't go away, a deeply liquid PSA-graded secondary market with strong price discovery, and a buyer who is already used to digital experiences (Pokémon GO, TCG Live).
We could chase Topps Chrome and Prizm cohorts later. Starting narrow lets us nail the rip → vault → resell loop on one community before we open it up.
Strategy doc and competitive analysis available on request — email hello@sleeved.app.
BuildingApril 22, 2026
How our randomness works (commit-reveal explained)
Every card platform that uses random pulls has the same trust problem: how do you know the company didn't change the result after you opened the pack?
Our answer is a standard cryptographic commit-reveal scheme. Before you rip, we publish a SHA-256 hash of server_seed + client_seed + nonce. After the rip, we reveal the seeds. Anyone can recompute the hash and confirm we didn't tamper.
Full technical write-up + sample verifier coming with beta launch.

Plain-English summary
We collect the minimum information needed to operate Sleeved: your email (to send you account updates and the cards you buy), your shipping address (only when you ship a card), and your payment details (handled by Stripe — we never see card numbers). We do not sell your data, ever. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time by emailing us.
1. Information we collect
From you directly: email address, name (optional, for shipping), shipping address (when you ship), and password (hashed, never stored in plain text).
Automatically: basic device and browser info (browser type, OS, screen size), pages viewed, IP address (used only for fraud prevention and rate limiting).
From third parties: Stripe (payment confirmation, last 4 of card, billing zip), USPS/UPS (shipping status), PSA (cert verification status).
2. How we use it
To run your account and the marketplace; to deliver cards you buy; to detect fraud and abuse; to communicate with you about the service (transactional only); and to improve the product (aggregate, de-identified analytics).
We do not use your data for ad targeting and we do not share it with advertisers.
3. Who we share it with
Only the third parties needed to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), USPS/UPS (shipping), our custodian (vault operations), PSA (cert verification lookups), and Plausible Analytics (privacy-respecting page analytics, no cookies, no IP logging). We do not share your data with Meta, Google, or any ad network.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookie-free by design.
5. Your rights
You have the right to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, export it (machine-readable JSON), and delete it. To exercise any right, email hello@sleeved.app. We respond within 14 days.
If you are in California (CCPA) or the EU/UK (GDPR), you have additional rights under those laws. Same email gets you a response.
6. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we purge personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for legal or tax reasons (typically 7 years for transaction records).
7. Children
Sleeved is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will notify users by email at least 14 days before changes take effect. The current version is always at this URL.
Effective: April 24, 2026 · Last updated: April 24, 2026
1. About Sleeved
Sleeved is operated by Sleeved, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Sleeved. Service availability may vary by state based on local law.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure. Notify us immediately at hello@sleeved.app if you believe your account is compromised. You may not share, transfer, or sell your account.
4. What you're buying
A Sleeved digital pack is a purchase of one specific physical PSA-graded card. The pack reveals which card you receive based on the published per-card odds for that pack tier. The card is your property the moment the pack opens. We act as the custodian (via our independent third-party storage facility) until you ship it.
5. Pull rates and randomness
Per-card odds for every pack tier are published on the pack's product page before purchase. Pack outcomes are determined by a commit-reveal cryptographic scheme; details are on our page.
6. Pricing, payments, and refunds
All purchases are final once a pack is opened, because the digital and physical state of the card has been committed. Unopened pack credits are refundable for 14 days after purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
7. Marketplace
Sleeved hosts a peer-to-peer marketplace for vault-to-vault transfers between users. We charge zero fees on these transfers. Sellers set their own prices. Sleeved is not a party to peer-to-peer transactions; we are the facilitator and custodian.
8. Shipping
Shipping requests are processed within one business day. Cards ship via USPS Priority or UPS Ground with full insurance equal to the card's current Card Ladder market value. In the event of damage or loss in transit, we will issue a full replacement card or cash payout within 5 business days.
9. Prohibited use
You may not: use Sleeved for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity; use bots, scrapers, or automated tooling to access the service; create multiple accounts; or attempt to manipulate pack outcomes. Violations result in account termination and forfeiture of vault contents to the custodian for legal review.
10. Intellectual property
All Sleeved branding, design, and software is owned by Sleeved, Inc. Pokémon, PSA, and other third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here in nominative reference only.
11. Disclaimers
Sleeved is not a financial advisor or investment platform. Trading cards are collectibles, not securities, and their value can fluctuate. Past performance of card prices does not predict future returns. Buy what you love, not what you expect to appreciate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sleeved's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have spent on Sleeved in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
13. Disputes
Disputes are governed by Delaware law. We agree to attempt good-faith resolution by email first. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Wilmington, DE.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Why us
Lifelong collector. Solo founder shipping fast.
Matthew Hun · UCLA · Pulled his first Charizard at age 8. Has spent ~$15K on the secondary market over the past five years and felt every friction point Sleeved removes. From idea to public site in under 30 days.
The unique insight: most card platforms try to be auction houses or marketplaces. The real wedge is being the inventory layer. When Sleeved owns the slab, we control the experience, the fees, the speed, and the buyback liquidity. Nobody at the consumer tier owns the slab today.
· Working interactive rip demo with weighted pulls from real card pool
· Stripe checkout + Apple Pay infrastructure built and ready to flip on
· Sample inventory sourced and pricing benchmarked against Card Ladder
· Custodian + insurance partner discussions in progress
· Waitlist open · building since April 2026
Business model
Pack margin. That's it.
We acquire PSA-graded cards at ~80% of market via dealer networks and live auctions. Packs price the contents at ~120% of expected value. Net pack margin: ~30–40% before COGS (shipping, insurance, processing).
Marketplace and vault are free for users — they're CAC, not revenue. They keep customers in the ecosystem so the next pack purchase is one tap away. Zero-fee marketplace is structurally cheaper than eBay because we're not trying to monetize transactions — we're monetizing the next pack.
Phase 2
Collector liquidity (the wedge nobody else has).
After 1,000 vault customers, we add 90-day repurchase agreements on vaulted cards. Customer takes 60% of FMV cash today, can buy back at 70% within 90 days. Sale + option, not a loan — sidesteps state lending licensure entirely. PWCC offers something similar but only for $50K+ positions. We serve the $200–$5,000 collector nobody else does.
Ask

Inventory float ($300K), engineering hires ($120K), legal + custodial setup ($50K), marketing ($30K). Runway: 12 months to first 1,000 paying customers and the Phase 2 launch.
